Dr. Garg completed his Residency in Internal Medicine at Columbia University St. Luke's Roosevelt Hospital Center. He is Board Certified in Nephrology and Internal Medicine by the American Board and is licensed to practice in Delaware and Maryland.

Dr. Garg was the recipient of Nephrology Young Investigator Forum award and the Chief Residents' award for excellence in Clinical Medicine. As a member of the American Society of Nephrology and the American College of Physicians, he participated in research as a Principal investigator, Co-investigator in original & as well as pharmaceutical research projects.

Dr. Garg is member of several professional societies and is a Fellow of American College of Physicians.
